The Clearways polycarbonate visor 1002353 has performance 1F3, EN 166: 2001 applies.

A face/shield with polycarbonate visor rated for B level impact would be adequate protection for metal grinding. 

Typically, the particles are small compared to the 6 mm size of the metal ball used in the high speed impact test.

The A level impact represents the highest impact velocity, and it is normally reserved for situations where the hazard is larger projectiles or the chance of an accident is greater due to the operation.
