The 3M DF-BL surface conditioning belt is a non-woven abrasive belt designed for blending, cleaning, and finishing without aggressively changing part geometry. Surface conditioning belts are ideal when you want to refine a surface, remove light oxidation, or produce a more uniform finish—often with lower risk of gouging compared to coated abrasive belts.

These belts are widely used for stainless finishing, deburring, paint prep, and process steps where you want a controlled finish and smoother transitions on edges and welds.
