The distribution of the forces acting on the four cutting edges noticeably reduces the axial and radial forces and guarantees extremely smooth and material- friendly operation of the tool thanks to the uneven distribution. The 4S BOOST countersink not only ensures a perfect countersink pattern without chatter marks, but also particularly effortless and material-friendly working with up to 50% time savings and up to 3 times longer tool life. Additionally, for the first time, the newly developed cutting technology even allows countersinking with diameters of up to 40 mm to be carried out with hand-held screwdriving and drilling tools. The tool works with the same precision in drill presses as it does in CNC-controlled machining centers. The 3-surface shank ensures a secure hold in the drill chuck and optimum power transmission.
